One of my favorite villagers moved out

Kitty who i thought we were doing really well together moved out ;w;. she was supposed to stay for the theme i'm doing... and i didn't even notice that she was leaving.
and to make it worse my friend and i she was gonna take kitty till i could get her again but something messed up and she didn't go to my friends D:. it makes me so sad ;w;. so now i'll have to wait for pretty long time till i can get her again first off but then also i wonder if anyone actually has her.
i think she may have been my favorite off the list too. why kitty why. you betrayed me. *sounds of a ripping heart*

Yeah, I hate it when favorite villagers move! Especially when they say goodbye in the letter

try to be optimistic that you'll find another villager that you will like just as much or even more. that happened for me when my favorite villager moved out and i ended up finding Fauna as a replacement from my campsite.

also, the game is programmed to make villagers move out randomly every so often, it has nothing to do with their friendship with your mayor character. there are guide threads here and elsewhere with tips for checking on your villagers to make sure nobody is thinking of moving so that you can stop them when it's somebody you want to keep. it's a never-ending chore in ACNL, to hold on to the villagers you want.

yeah i know. i'll get her back eventually anyway. but i have read online that they are actually more likely to ask if they've been there longer and you're actually their friend.

yeah i really love savannah too . ankha probably my favorite though. we still are best friends even if she doesn't know it anymore </3.
but i know i'll be able to get her back eventually. it's just that i wish i had known so i coulda stopped her.

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that I hate it when they leave without saying a word to you about it. I really wish we could prevent them from moving when we find them in boxes too, would make the game much less frustrating. I recently got Genji back after racing through the 16 villager cycle for him. Was just desperate to get him back, managed it without losing anybody else. It is always possible to have them back but it can be a lot of work in the process
