OMGG!! Really, Inkwell!? You Hadda pick this spot!?

So here's the story ... I convinced Inkwell to move into my town of Tubetown .... (I can't really explain why ... It's just that I had the Splatoon Amiibos and I could ... so I did ... heh heh ... we shall see how this goes!) ... Im blaming this all on Harvey ... I'm sure he is to blame somehow, but that's another thread and another story

Anyway ... I have a full roster of villagers and mules/peeps in my town and could not plot set for Inkwell ... at least other than pattern and pwps etc ... turns out he ignored them anyway!
So where does the little booger choose!? Right smack in front of my house and destroying pattern and gold and black roses to do so!
Me and the little Splat dude are off to a bad start!

Oml noooo, that is awful. I had issues with Shari. I had to plot reset her 4 times, even after trying to cover every possible spot that I didn't want her in, in patterns. She just found a way, somehow, to wreck my town before she was settled in...

This is why I always lay paths around and use the 3DS clock to manipulate villagers where I want. Now, i'm sure, villagers will only plot where there is free space. (Which is where I want him/her at, of course)

And yes. Villager's don't plot on paths anymore.

I almost had that moment yesterday when Ketchup moved in. I saw on the map she was right where my perfect cherry trees are.

Turns out she moved in front of a few of them and is positioned right by the bench that I have there that never gets used. It actually worked out well!

To be fair, unless she plotted in Vladimir's old spot she was almost certain to take out trees. I just wish it wasn't my cedars....
