omg why didnt she move????

so i have been mad at charlise ever since she moved into my town about the 3rd day cause she moved right where my main path was going to be. so FINALLY she pings me and tells me she is going to move the 18th of this month.YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so here comes the choices

no, please stay! (um...no way!! please move)

so of course i press who are you? ive done it many times before when i wanted someone to leave and guess what, they left. but does she? no!!! she says something about having to stay to work on our friendship...........???? she just said she wanted to leave, why give those two choices if neither one of them will let her leave? thats not fair. i was soo excited she was going to leave, already beginning to plan in my head how i wanted to redo my path the right way but what the heck man? i press the choice to let her leave and she says no we need to work on our friendship?? now how long will it take her to want to leave again?
i have read on here before that if i ignore her she will leave faster, but i ignore her and this?

They do that sometimes. What I do is just reset then don't talk to the villager till the moving date. If you can't reset. That's okay. Just wait for her to ping again hopefully she decides to move

it's always hard because the more rude the second option is i think the more likely it is that they won't move, but i don't know if that's actually true. but things like "take care!" sound like they'll go over more than "who are you?"

i'm sorry you had that happen i know how frustrating it is when a villager won't LEAVE. please stinky..... get out.....

When that occurs, end without saving, reboot, and the next time she pings to move, she will agree to it.

thanks, i will remember that next time. by the time soeone else told me to do this i had done soo much i would have hated to redo it all over again but next time for sure i will do thsi cause i want her out of that spot

i had that happen to me with rocket -_- but yeah that does happen sometimes if you just flat out ignore them and dont talk to tehm whatsoever ( it always happens with the ones you hate the look of too D: ) but i hope you get her to move out soon uwu best of luck with your town!
