Hi there! I've recently picked up this game again after not playing for about two years. I made one of these threads years ago when I first started playing, but since it's a few years old and hasn't seen much love, I figured it was high time to make a new one. I was thinking about starting to compile a friends listing for those of us who are a little older to play together on ACNL. I haven't decided if I should put people's FC in a spread sheet or what, since I'm not sure everyone wants their business out there, but my thought is post a little bit about yourself and make some friends. Maybe some things you like, how often you play, what you're looking for in friends to play with.

I'll start

I'm Sheepy, I'm 29 years old and getting ready to graduate in December (FINALLY). My husband and I own a small game studio, and just released our first game (pen-and-paper style, ala Dungeons & Dragons-esque), so when I'm not doing business and marketing stuff for that, I'm playing this game or Fantasy Life, or working on my own writing. I'm also big into musical theater, although I haven't been on stage for years (sadness), as well as text-based role play online. I'm also the very happy mom to two adorable kitties. I travel a lot for my work, to various conventions around the US, which is pretty exciting as well. I love to travel and I love conventions, so it's kind of a win-win.

I'm looking for just about anyone to play Animal Crossing with, really! People who like to hang out, possibly a little more on the nerdy side. Fellow college students are always a plus because then we can commiserate about exams and homework and whatnot. You can find my friend code just under my name. Just send me a message letting me know you added me and I'll add you back

I don't time travel, although I have no issue with people who do. Mostly I play in the evenings, after work and school are done (although I'm on summer break at the moment, so outside of a few days a week when I work internship or do events for our business, I'm pretty readily available).

My name is Iris, and I'm 26 years old. I've been working since I was 17 but in august I'm going back to school, so I can call myself a student again!
I'm also looking for some older players so I've added you :-)
I started acnl about a month ago so I'm pretty new and still working in my town, but you're welcome anyway :-)
 
I become 20 in just over a month's time! (27th of July) >.< Am I eligible to join the Old Fogies' club?

I'm Jarrad, I've been wanting to develop a little band of buddies that I know I'll be able to pick up my 3DS and play with. Self-admittedly I've been an active member on this forum for a few years now and still don't really know many people or have anybody that I consider a "friend". I'm a pretty relaxed and reserved person, though I'm told that I have a very unique sense of humour, but I hope that this doesn't come in the way of playing or talking to anybody! I'm also from the United kingdom and have a long ancestry of being completely British (pretty boring, I know).

I go to college in September! I went last year, though I came back early because I felt as though I had chosen the wrong course and location to study at (thankfully I avoided any tuition fees or debt ^^)

I'm into some mangas & animes, though most of my interests lie in games, books, TV shows and history (I'm obsessed with derelict & abandoned locations). My favourite games at the moment are probably AC, Pokemon, Monster Hunter and Fantasy life.

If not then this post will become valid on the 27th! :P

Great idea. I'm Mandy and I've been playing for almost 2 years, with lots of long breaks at times haha. I'm 31, a mother of two boys and I'm starting nursing school in January. I recently restarted my son's town and I'm having a lot of fun going back and unlocking everything. I still have my original town but I don't play it as much since there's not much to do.

I'm 23 and I'm also going back to school in August! I have a degree in Chemistry and I'll be studying Medicine in the fall. I'm actually somewhat new to AC - my friend had recommended it to me so I bought it around the end of March. I mainly got it for something to do on the plane when I went on a spring vacation, but I've apparently developed some kind of an addiction to it.

Right now I work most weekdays and some weekends (back to work tomorrow after a bit of a break) so I'm generally available evenings. Having people to play AC with and talk to about extreme stress once I'm back in school sounds amazing. I'd love to add you guys!

Haha, I turn 20 on the 25th of July. Our birthdays are just two days apart :).
 
my name is kanae' and I just turned 24 on May 25. Im studying to be a nurse and i literally charge my ds more than i charge my phone. I actually got this game for my sister but she got bored with it and i picked and that was 2 yrs ago. i reset twice but i'm happy right now. i'll add all you guys later :) cant wait to play with you alll

Im an oldie to! Being 25 (:

I have a degree in animal care, and one in photography, i also have done a wolf behaviour and ecology course online.
Ive been working since I've been 16, odd jobs in kennels, and now have a semi own dog walking business, and a part time working in a greyhound rescue. (and i still cannot move out of my parents house! haha!)

So its nice to come home and chill and play animal crossing after a busy day! haha. I don't know why the animals call it being a mayor is stressful in the game! haha! its quite relaxing. XD

Hi all. 30 year old Fine Art student in New Zealand here. Just relaxing with the game, like a lot of others. I usually find it a bit stressful trying to find others who are just chilled out and friendly to play with, but everyone here sounds nice. I would be keen if anyone wanted to add me.

My name is Emilia, but I prefer Emi. I am 23 years old and I will be 24 in October. I am Chinese, but I was born in Costa Rica, so my main language is Spanish, and currently living in Canada. I started playing AC:NL a couple of days ago and I am loving it. I play it a lot every single day.

I love playing MMORPGs and my all time favorite game is Ragnarok Online (the first one..). I am also a mommy to a hamster, 2 dogs, 2 iguanas, 2 turtles. I can't live without animals. And I wish I could have a guinea pig :(. My hobbies are photography and singing. I also enjoy doing sports: futbol (soccer), basketball, ping pong, and some other.

Oh wow, I'm probably the oldest one to comment so far >.< I'm part of the 30+ crowd, and I've been a gamer since I was a kid! I've played AC:WW and City Folk, but my favorite Animal Crossing game is definitely New Leaf. I'm not much of a chatter, in fact, I've had New Leaf since release and so far, I've not visited/hosted anyone ever. :]

I'm an actor, photographer, and an all-around geek.
