I just don't know what it is.
 
It's a Tamandua. I don't know which kind though...
And they are a type of anteater, they're kind of the mid-sized ones.

Oh, and I thought it was weird that it wasn't eating insects, but a quick search revealed to me that people can teach them to eat fruit and meat in captivity. They don't have any teeth, so that must be one incredible gizzard...

It's my understanding that they are fairly friendly in captivity, but I don't think it's legal to own one in most states without a permit.

Well I was being a little serious.But I really could not get an Anteater even if I wanted to.

Well, I'm not to sure about that... I have heard of people owning them before, so it's not impossible...

But, assuming that it's legal, it would cost one serious chunk of change...
