Oh Hans, what am I going to do with you?

So, I've never really been a fan of monkeys, chimps, or apes, so I was less than thrilled by the appearance of Hans the smug abominable snowman gorilla. Especially since I already have Lopez who I adore.

I have been on a mission to make space in my town and adopt Kiki. My first thought? Sorry Hans, but I need Kiki. I lucled into Rosie as a first resident. But back in the Gamecube days, Rosie and Kiki were both in my town and I love them and need them in my town. Kiki was up for grabs today and I decided I'd TT and get. Hans. out. of. my. town.

He kept pinging on me. But not to move, oh no. To give me awesome items and tell me what great friends we are. Thanks Hans. Thanks for not tugging at my heart strings and making me feel guilty. Well, his generous soul couldn't be contained anf he never pinged once to move and Kiki slipped through my fingers for a third time. So tonight I decided once and for all to get Hans gone. I go back in time and check my mail to find this letter:



The feels! HANS, STOP BEING SO SWEET AND NICE AND NOW I FEEL GUILTY FOR TRYING TO MOVE YOU OUT.

Has this ever happened to you? Where the villager you want gone becomes heart-wrenchingly attentive? Oh Hans, what am I going to do?

I'm afraid I have to jump on the Hans appreciation bandwagon. What a sweetie he is. He gives me the best gifts of all my villagers and gets so excited when ever he pings me... kinda reminds me of my son when he was small and couldn't wait to tell me something. His eyes close and he does that little dance with his arms moving. I love my Hans.

I had the same with Apollo. He moved into my town far before I had even decided who I wanted my villagers to be, and I just really didn't like the look of this big eagle in a leather jacket. But then he did the same as Hans did to you, became incredibly sweet and nice and I just couldn't let him go! Now he's one of my set 10 and I think he's the most adorable cranky villager I agree with the others, if you feel that way it's not worth to let him go!

Aaaaaaaaaaaawww, have you sent any letters to Hans? Maybe you should at least make sure to let him go with a sweet letter attached to him so you dont feel so guilty!

I once had Agnes at my old town and I really REALLY did not expect to end up liking her as much as I did (Specialy because Ive already had a lot of negative experiences with pig villagers in the past), but I was trying to cylce to get Marshal back (And her house was at a HORRIBLE place) so I eventualy had to let her go at that time, I cant believe it actualy made me sad to let her go.

But Im definitively going to get her back on my new town, I just liked her that much!

Like you, I'm not fond of monkeys or apes in Animal Crossing. The first time I got Hans in my town, I wasn't sure I really wanted to keep him. But I did. He grew on me.

Well, if anyone knows someone who would Hans, I have a post up in the trading forums. He's free to a good home. I'm definitely going to write him a letter. It's a little bittersweet. I get attached to my villagers. For instance I have Cobb and Blair who neither of whom I'm particularly enamored of... but! they were original (or near original) villagers. They've been around for so long now that it's going to feel empty letting them go. I'm actually loathe to part with them for that reason. They may not be popular or pretty, but they're *my* unpopular and not-so-pretty villagers. Hans hasn't been around as long, but it's going to feel a bit sad to see that empty space by the waterfall where his house sat. Gah! But I'm going to steel my resolve and let him go. I need that 10th space. *sigh*

Eh. Hans looks horrible in my opinion. Looks like a yeti that caught a cold (ironic, isn't it?) The end of the day, all the smugs have the same dialog, so I'd make him move if I were you.


Coco, who was my starter and most favorite villager next to Fang the man, had to move out. It was hard, but I had to move forward. I couldn't keep her in the same old town for long, so? I did the right thing. I felt satisfied after that. Sometimes decisions have to be made to benefit us for the good.

I find Hans so adorable. I really hope you're able to find a good home for him! If I had the space I'd take him in a heartbeat but Coco just moved in my tenth spot yesterday.

You could go on bizarre Frozen inspired misadventures with him and end up beating the living pulp out of him-- I MEAN, spend some nice time with him and befriend him even when knowing what he did to Anna-- AAAAAAAAAAAA I MEAN... never mind.

It's always fun to pester him for no good reason. I used to want him at one time, but now I want Mott. XD

Hans is A+ rad. I had him in campsite twice but Julian already keyed in the smug slot and I love that celestial unicorn so haha.

I really love his colors.

I have Hans in my town. I want him out. He's right in front of my house, so the first thing I see when I leave my house is him -_-. I really hope he's the next one to move. (There are a lot of other smugs that I like a lot better, so I hope I get one of them instead .)
