Whats up people, I need help finding some solid co-op games on the XBOX One. Good co-op games are few and far between for this generation of consoles, so I could use some help as I don't keep up with video games like I used to. Platformers are preferred but me and my girlfriend can get into just about anything. Thanks homies.

I hear ya my friend. Finding good co-op games on next gen consoles is a difficult task. I recommend checking out this site for a list of different co-op games. I would personally recommend these:

- Rocket League
- The Master Chief Collection
- Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection
- Rayman Legends
- Rare Replay

I really wish companies would bring back splitscreen. Rocket League has some really fun online splitscreen co-op, but you can also do offline against CPUs. In general, I go to the Wii U for splitscreen/co-op games now. Nintendo seems to be the only company that still cares.

Edit: Also, if you're into fighting games there's Dragonball Xenoverse, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, and Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 where you can fight each other.

That website is incredible, you're a real hero. Patiently waiting for a sequel to Rayman Legends. We got NEARLY every star but a couple levels had me wanting to pull my hair out. I've been really considering getting a Wii U, they have some great exclusives and most of them are co-op.

Aha, glad it helps! They are releasing the NX next year, but there are plenty of fun co-op games on the Wii U to play. I've invested hours with my sister on just Smash Bros. U and Mario Kart 8 alone.

The NX is the reason I might hold off. I know we would sink countless hours into Smash and Mario Kart, Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is great by the way she just doesn't really stand a chance against me in most VS games so it's hard to keep her interest. Is Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild going to be an NX exclusive or a port from the Wii U? I know that's not co-op I've just been neglecting Nintendo for way too long and would love a new LoZ game. I'm really trying to get back into gaming and It's really looking like Nintendo might be the company to help me do just that as my XBOX has been more or less used as a glorified Blu-Ray player.

As stated above, rocket league is a fantastic co-op game. Offers both split screen offline and online, which is an added bonus. One of my favorite games currently; very easy to pick up. Simply play a game or two against bots or players, and then come back later.

Another game which I recommend that I played with my girlfriend is Battleblock Theater. It's a wonderful little game that includes elements of platforming, puzzle solving, humor, and co-op (if you so decide). Plus it's backwards compatible. Although it may seem childish, I can assure you it is CERTAINLY worth sitting through. The storyline is absolutely whimsical; pointless in any other game. The developers just do a wonderful job. I'd recommend this highly.

Another game that you may like is Portal 2. Similarly above, chopped full of humor and puzzle solving. Plus there is both a solo storyline and a co-op storyline, each with their own puzzles. Also backwards compatible.
Hope this helps!
