Doesn't really matter, they're both compatible with each other through wi-fi. I'll have to wait to get my code though, I have to re-install my wi-fi thing on my computer and set up the settings.

Do u need software or something? My sister has a DS but ive never seen an internet feature on it.

Unlike the Wii it can't connect to the internet automatically, if you have to buy a router thing to hook to your computer and download the software that comes with it.
