Summer is finally here for us Northern Hemisphere players, and with the arrival of June, there's so much more activities to do! Likewise, Southern players will be turning over into Winter!
New Fish and Bugs
I'm especially excited for all of the new fish, I love how we're getting all these big and rather expensive spawns. June is bell making time!
New Seasonal DIYs
Northern players will begin to have summer shells appear on their beaches, while southern players will be able to start catching snowflakes using their nets.
Summer Shell event starts on June 1st, Snowflake event starts on June 11th.
Recipes can only be found from balloons.
Personally, I don't particularly care for the seasonal event for the summer, but I'm definitely going to stock up on shell wreaths. They're perfect for tropical villagers!
Nook Shopping Specials
Thanks to @mirukushake, it's confirmed that we get some new special orderables from Nook Shopping!
Bug Off

Summer and Winter Solstice
An event for the Summer and Winter Solstice has been found in the code by dataminers. All we know is that it starts on June 7th (Summer for North and Winter for South). Will be adding more info once we know exactly what it entails.
Thanks to @mirukushake, we now know that both the crown and sweater are available through the Nook Shopping Specials tab for all players no matter the hemisphere you're playing in! This indicates that the Winter and Summer Solstice do not have a focus event.
Wedding Season
It's the event most have been patiently waiting for! Cyrus and Reese is bringing us some wedding themed furniture set. I've looked into how the event runs and it seems pretty interactive, more so than the events we've had so far. I won't go into detail how it runs, but make sure you go to Harvey's island everyday for the month of June.
That's pretty much our line up for June as far as we officially know of. I know many users have been experiencing a drop of activity in game. Will the arrival of a new season and a big event tie you over till the next update? What are you looking forward to the most? I'll no doubt will be very busy in game for the next 30 days with these things alone. The world is slowly getting back to normalcy, with people going back to work, players might experience less burn out now that we'll be spacing out our playtime. It'll feel like we'll have plenty to do for the meantime.
Plus, we may get an announcement of an update soon, usually around the time E3 would be happening. It's not 100% for certain, but we'll just have to wait and see.

There's 3 variation of the wedding sets: Cute, Chic, and Garden. The furniture can be customized into the other variations.
