Ocean Home

Hi there, I wanted to build a new home near the ocean, so that when I'm inside I can hear the waves.
How close do I need to be to get this? I built a home what I thought would be close but it wasn't.
Also it was a tent not a house.

I would, but I try to avoid using 'they'. I find it somewhat disrespectful if used with another single person.

I would rather just use he/she, even if I end up being wrong.

Meh, I don't really care how I am referred to. A lot of people do think I am a guy, though.
