A short little article here: http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-s...-and-anti-semitism-occupy-wall-street-protest

(Yes, it's biased.)
I think he's right. If anyone else sees this, tell me, because I shouldn't be the only one. It seems that things take a flip-flop every couple of years. People favor republicans and trash democrats, then favor democrats and trash republicans. And in this moment in time, if anything like this had happened in a "Tea Party" rally, the media would be all over it.

I honestly think political parties shouldn't exist. It confines a candidate to a certain set of moral values. Even George Washington despised parties.

I mostly support and agree with the Occupy Wallstreet. Watch "Capitalism: A love story" by Michael Moore. America has became a plutocracy. And the Occupy movement isn't anti-Semitic. The anti-Semitic protesters are crazies that have been in New York long before the Occupy movement even started. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEPgAp5Mkyc&feature=channel_video_title). The Occupy movement doesn't really have anything to do with political parties. Yes, most of the protesters are liberal, but they've been attacking the Obama administration the most for not taking a stand against corporate greed. I do agree with you about the political parties, though; I think it puts restrictions on the type of democracy that our founding fathers envisioned.

I'm not saying I agree wholly with the Tea Party or The OW. I honestly don't care about the Occupy Wallstreet. I know that sounds terrible, but it's true. Everyone should've seen it coming and it shouldn't be a surprise that it did happen. Honestly, I think that if BOTH (I'm not saying it's the Liberals or the Conservatives that are the problem individually) sat down and tried to cooperate, then we'd probably be getting more things done. Anyone thinks that this is reminiscent of the Federalists and the Democratic-republican parties back when Washington was first president? Both going at it to try to take down the other.

I agree with this, mostly.

Define trying. j/k I'm sure if they sat down and focused on the country over anything else something good or close to good would happen but... yeah, chances of that happening are never. I'm pretty pessimistic though.
This does remind me of the Federalists and the Republican party (the one back then), all we're missing is the powdered wigs.

About Occupy Wallstreet, I like it but mostly because it's something. I understand that it's not all roses and chocolate though. Having people of the country being more involved in political stuff, no matter the party, is pretty cool.

I really dislike that article. I am not going to argue there are awful sign at recent protests, but the tea party didn't lack those either. They got about as much attention as this article and others like are giving the awful half of the current protests.

Both protests did have some really horrible people in it. Hell I bet at any random protest rally or anything even slightly politically charged you can find someone claiming 911 was an inside job.

If you look at the negatives alone, you find them in ridiculous numbers on both sides.

That being said I actually like the main message the one most people in the occupy wall street movement have, whereas the Teabag movement.... actually I don't even know if they had a real main point other than being against the current administration?

I have and still feel that the people who have most of the money in the nation do abuse the power that comes with it to keep other people down. Large companies do use their money to legally persecute small but growing businesses to make them disolve because they don't have the money for legal proceedings. Some of the things are because of the current legal system, loopholes within it that are only usable with money. Plenty of politicians are corrupted on both sides one way or another by these businesses.

Some businesses put on the facade of being better people just to get funding use it on the higher ups go bankrupt and laugh at the money they stole while the people lower go unemployed.

There are many things wrong in this nation. Many injustices, and truth be told the government really doesn't have the power to change it. I actually am a bit worried about a revolution happening, the nation is so divided currently though it wouldn't be the good kind. If hatred is allowed to escalate as it seems to be protests on either side could turn to riots.

I might be being pessimistic here, but I do believe some large change in our country is going to need to occur soon to survive. If it is for the better, great, but if it is against my ideals, I just don't think I can stay here.

Then again I could just do what I do now, complain every now and again , ignore rules I think are dumb, and carry on with things, as I am rather likely to get a well paying job in an industry hit less hard by the current recession than many.May be when I am financially secure not having to worry about loans, and how much money I can spend on food and still be able to pay rent I will be able to focus on more political things. Yet another reason why many on the bottom never get heard, they don't have the time to speak, and most are worse off than I am right now.

Like I said, I don't agree with most of the Tea Party ideals. Just a few. I don't think they're as much anarchists as they just want a lot less government. However, there has to be a happy medium... We can't just have a government that does nothing but handle foreign affairs, but we can't have one that dictates what toothpaste we use. And you're right, the nation does need a big change. I wrote an editorial on that in my school newspaper; about how we're lost the passion and the will to be Americans that we had right after 9/11. Hopefully, it doesn't take another one of those to make the people come together and realize that we're screwing up America.
