there's so many things to do, like getting gold skulltulas and getting pieces of heart
i don't really like how you have to become adult link for some things either, especially since when you're adult link and you have the master sword, hyrule castle town is destroyed.

do you guys prefer to do sidequests along the way? or do you wait until you complete the main story?

Lol I think it's one of the more stressful and difficult Zelda games. I do all the side quests as I'm going along on the main path, why would I go back for the important stuff when I'm done? You pretty much NEED that bigger wallet from the Skulltulas or you're gonna be poor a lot.

I usually never do the sidequests in Zelda because they're not fun to do. The golden skulltula collecting is too hard if you ask me. I never keep track of which tokens I've already collected or not.

I find the game easy, and the sidequests are sometimes stressful but help out in the end. Now, I'm considering trying out a no heart piece run sometime, but that's whenever I complete Master Quest. :P

I do them on the way so my to-do list doesn't get backed up.

I've played ocarina of time many times so I know where everything is and the earliest opportunities to do things. OoT can be somewhat stressful and time consuming. Getting to some places even with the warp songs is what's most annoying to me.

Actually, the game, sorta, keeps track of that for you. If you have all the skulltula tokens from an area; you have a marker on your map reflecting that then(though I seem to be good at finding most of them without actually looking for them lol)

Really the only pain in the rear about the side quests, like Skulltulas, I find is when you've found one, but you can't do anything with it yet because you don't have the right items to reach the token or spider. For example, a memorable one is the high up skulltula in the graveyard, you can kill it early but the token sits up there until you have the Hookshot to grab it. It's quite a while off from the first time you enter the Graveyard to the time you pick up the Hookshot. So it's like OH GREAT I HAVE TO REMEMBER WHERE THIS ONE IS IF I WANT TO 100% IT.

UGH THAT GAME IS SO HARD
i prefer wind waker, its easier/happier
anyway, i really dont care about sidequests.
They can be fun though.

Nooo don't give up if it's hard! Ocarina of Time is the best game EVERRRRRRRR.

I played Wind Waker first and beat it, and I should be biased but nope, Ocarina of Time surpassed it after I beat it. Everything about it is great!

Plus if you think Ocarina of Time is difficult, try A Link to the Past! Or even the original lol.
The only tedious part of OoT is the Water Temple, but if you can get past that you can do anything in that game, it just requires you to think which isn't a bad thing. :3

I always do side-quests to the fullest I can. I usually get around 70-80 skulltulas whenever I replay OoT. Make sure you at least get Epona, if you're not going to do any side quest!

I thought Ocarina of Time 3D was pretty easy, compared to the N64/GC version. Did all the sidequests and stuff before beating Ganon. Started working on Master Quest before putting it down for the next big game though.

I always found OOT easy in terms of sidequests. The only thing that was slightly frustrating was fishing, getting the big poes for the last bottle, and maybe that arrow game in gerudo valley.

I think that the heart pieces can be a little trying, but it's harder in Majora's Mask imo.

I'm playing a link to the past, and i'm on the first dungeon in the dark world.
You see, i tried the wii to wii u transfer and it failed, causing me to loose all my data.
The forest temple was the worst, and the worst part of the water temple was actually just dark link. I never beat him
I should have done the fire temple first

almost done, all i need is about 10 more skulltulas (ugh) and the gerudo training ground. i'm kinda dissapointed with ganondorf's fight

I prefer to do the side quests as I go along, since you pretty much need them anyway. What would be the point in getting the stuff I need when the game is complete anyway?
It's nice to have a bit of difficulty in there, since it would be too easy to complete the game otherwise. That would be boring too.

It's definitely not one of the harder games of the series. Classic Zelda games such as the first two released were the harder games. In fact Zelda games seem to keep getting easier as time goes along, sadly.

Sidequests are there for your enjoyment, hence why they are "side" quests. If you don't want to do them, you don't have to. I just collected the gold skulltulas as they came along and before I knew it, I had quite a few. Collecting the Poes if I remember correctly was somewhat tricky.
