Why not reshape your town to make it more like Moondust? It can still have all cedar trees and base it around a light color scheme. Especially if you think you would miss your villagers. Then if it still isn't scratching that itch, reset away!

I'd be replacing all of my villagers as well as wanting to change the name which is why I was thinking of doing a full on reset. ; v ; I wish there was an option to change your island name later aaaa

It sounds like you've already made up your mind then! I went through the same process at the beginning of the month. Once I decided that I would keep my name and hunt for Sherb again, I knew that I was resetting.
