NPC pictures from amiibo cards?

I was just wondering how many times you can get a picture from the special amiibo cards? I gave Isabelle's picture away and thought I could get more, but there was no longer an option to get one when I scanned it in with Wisp? I promised someone I'd give them another one but can't now Also wanted one for myself, lol. Does anyone know if it will refresh after a week or something or you only get one?

Nope, unfortunately you can only get one picture per card... Sorry about that!

Well, actually, I found that I can use it to get pics multiple time If I use a different character, even if that character is just temp u can transfer it to your mayor.

Well, you can on other characters, but not the same one unfortunately.
