Not receiving interest at all?

I?ve never thought about this problem until I reset my town about a month ago, but I don?t believe I have ever received interest on my bells in the bank account?at the very least I?ve never received a letter about it in the mail. I?m wondering if maybe it?s a glitch in my game or if I?m just doing something wrong. I do time travel but never more than a day forward, maybe a couple of days backwards if I haven?t played in a couple days. My ds time clock does not match the in game time because I have tried to change it once and it totally messed up where I was in the game, they didn?t even match at all.
I?m just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and knows some way to fix it? I?ve got a good sum saved up and know I?m missing out on some potential bells.

I?m currently at just over 60 million, 60.020.346 to be exact. And that?s with getting paid for selling my old town as well as consistent deposits

For a little while, I did receive 99k in interested, then it just stopped entirely.
I was around maybe 75m at the time. I'm not sure why?

My main town players still receive interest. Mayor has 154,000,000. Just change the clock back if I'm late starting.

In towns that I time travel sometimes they get the interest and other time they don't. All the players in those town have 102,500,000 each.

Seems to be hit and miss. Some towns do, some don't. No or little TT towns with at least a few hundred thousand bells seem to get interest regularly. Size of account doesn't seem to matter (too) much. 'Tis a puzzlement.

So it could be one of 2 things-

1 you have too many bells for the bank to hold. This is a real thing, but I don't think it's the problem with you here. It think it's no 2 which is

You have withdrawn bells from the bank. I had this problem in Moriyo, not receiving interest. I have about 30mil in the bank, so I was confused when I wasn't gettin a letter the first of the month about interest. You can deposit and have bells deposited in your account and still receive interest. I deposit my island profits and get the letter. But back when I was gettin bells out to buy Gracie's furniture on sale, I would not receive a letter at all.

My main town is one day ahead to avoid playing holidays when I want to spend time with family. I do get the interest there.

Some towns are not on the current date. Those towns that are ahead but play regular with little tt get the interest.
The towns that jump ahead for weeds rarely get interest.

It might be to stop players from jumping ahead, get the interest, jump back and than get it again.

strange I get 99k pretty often from the bank on my 12 profiles
is it random every time?

I do TT regularly so that makes sense!
Before, I had played almost everyday and received interested while barely TTing.
I wonder what the cutoff point is, the most I've ever TTed was within a week when playing regularly.
