Not receiving badge??

Hey guys, for some reason I haven't been receiving badges for playtime. I have over 200 hours played, but for some reason I haven't received neither the 50 hour badge or the 200 hour badge. Is this a thing happening to anyone else?? Thanks!

I don't have any problems with the 200 hours badge. I have trouble with the Catalog Gold Manic badge. On the badge itself says "80% of items cataloged." I have 87% of items cataloged. I did a little research on it and it turns out some people didn't get the badge until it reached 89%. I think the game is rounding the numbers down. For example 81-89% would be rounded down to 80%.

welcome, I hope we both get our badges soon. Nintendo logic of rounding numbers down is so frustrating!

It's also happening to me, but with the turnip trader badge. I am 100% sure that I have traded more than 500k bells with turnips. It is driving me crazy because Phineas gave me some other badges in the meantime.

I had that same problem. I had surpassed 500 hours of gameplay, but no badge. I ended up getting it much later.

Thanks guys! Yeah, Phineas is giving me all sorts of other badges, I don't know why he's not giving me those badges D: The completionist (that's probably not a word) in me is a little upset, but I don't plan on putting the game down any time soon, so he'll give me them eventually.

Yeah this issue sometimes happens. Just wait he will give you the badges after a while

If you're going off the time spent playing on the Activity Log, that time is not the same as the time needed for the badge. To get the badge, you need to dedicated 200 hours (in this case) on THAT player. Also, the rounding numbers could be a factor.
