Not Enough Blocks.

Please help, I have a question, I was going to update AS but it says it has no blocks! The only download I have is pokebank (237 blocks) So I have no clue how many blocks it takes to update AS and where all the other blocks are going.. I deleted alot of useless pictures like someone suggested and it only helped by like 20 blocks or so. I have 219 blocks!

My question is can I swap SD cards, update it on that one and change SD cards and still have the update? Answers would be greatly appreciated.

How big is your SD card? Is it a particularly small one or a large one?
I'm unsure how many 'blocks' = MB/GB thanks to Nintendo's backwards ass way of showing us data but the only things I could personally think of is that either your SD card doesn't have much storage space or maybe it needs formatting. I would get other opinions before formatting it though since I doubt you want to lose data stored on it if you don't have to.

The SD card that has the update installed on it is the SD card that needs to be in the 3DS when you use it.
