I dont know if this has been asked. By buying decorative items for nook miles, if you buy some of the big things. (ie. bought the lighthouse, and paths.) Do new items rotate in? I have bought some fencing, as I see these rotate daily or bi-daily . I am eventually going to get the pool once I have the other things needs to go with it. So I am curious if new things appear once you buy a certain amount. Or are we stuck with the big purchases till a possible update/patch? I have seen people showing pictures of there town, with many wonderful items and ideas. I dont TT, but just want to plan accordingly. Thanks in advance.
The fencing rotates daily but the big things like the lighthouse are always available. However, the big items come in color variants that can only be obtained by trading. Each island randomly determines which variant of the each of the non-craftable Nook Miles furniture items will be and if you want a different color you have to talk to other players and either pay them in bells/Nook Miles or offer to trade your variant for theirs. You can't spend your Nook Miles at someone else's NookStop terminal, unfortunately.
Thanks, and bummer. I saw a pic of someone having a pool, and hot tub. I want to do a whole "park district" look in an area a cleared. Y a know pool, hot tub. Kids park etc. But I have yet to even find a table worth putting my house. They are all so big. So the majority of my themed rooms stuff is on the floor. I guess I am going to have to open up my town to visitors, but I have not played since the Wii version so if anyone could guide me on how to post my island for people to visit, and stuff. THANKS
