No recipe option on nook miles

Hi...I have download the 2.0 version of ACNH and I have all new items to buy with nook miles except the DIY recipes?! Can anyone advise why this would be missing as I can't find anything online?!? How do I rectify this?!??! Thanks in advance

I think they're in the cabinet at Nook's Cranny, but I could be wrong.

Are you talking the recipes? If so, go to nooks cranny. If you're talking about the abilitg to cook, you need to have watched the credits (with kk slider) at least once. Meaning you'd need a 3 star island.
