I don't know how it happened, but a dreamie's plot turned into a house.... HOW THE HECK DID THIS HAPPEN???? It's in a horrible spot, I'm so upset right now.

Did it glitch? Can I fix it? I set up a new file, exit,, set up another new file, and now his house is there, instead of a plot. I hate this game right now... How do I fix this?

You must have messed up somewhere. Sorry but like the others have said, once the plot/house is set up, there's no way to return to how it was before the plot was there. Well, you can always work around the house area and see if anything is gonna work. If not and you don't like it, you can always make him leave then go through 16 villagers cycle. Don't worry anyway, it happens to everyone.

The day I adopted Lionel from someone it was the 20th of May in my game... I set the clock back to the 20th, and made a new save file, then put the new house where the fountain was, making sure there were no plots, so it didn't happen then.

I just did a trade with someone like 20 minutes ago, but I set it back to the 20th, and after the trade I went back to resetting... It was a plot the first reset, then it was a full blown house... Dang it, I really messed things up somehow.. T_T

Just realized the 'plot' I thought I saw was probably the tent of an alt T_T

I'm sorry this happened to you. It happens even when we're being very careful. I had to let go of a dreamy because I overlooked their plotting day.

From what I read, did you load your mayor after you made your alt on the 20th? Hard to say, but something must have loaded up then. So sorry, feel your pain. I'm guessing because saving after the trade also changes the record for the trading partner, the game must have moved days? I'm not too sure.

So sorry. It is easy to say now, and it must have not been too clear at the time but alt plots and villager plots look different
Alt plots are full fledged tents. Again, so sorry for your situation. Best of luck with whatever you plan ahead!
