No Gracie?

Ive been playing my town for over a year now. Daily for months, then I took a lot off, then just came back and Ive been playing daily for about a month. I have TIY, Ive spent tons of bells in there, and no Gracie... she just hasnt shown up.

I get Katrina, Redd, and Saharah regularly... but no sign of Gracie. Help! How can I get her to visit me?!

Gracie shows up rather randomly. I got lucky and had her visit 4 times in about a month but I've heard of others waiting months between her visits. I've heard that having the police station built and fortune teller shop on main street increases the chances of Gracie visiting.

I didn't have either of those and Gracie showed up at least once a week. Just got my Emporium built a few days ago.

Hmmm well it would help if my villagers werent so stingy with the PWP suggestions! I cant build a police station yet, and I still dont have Katrinas shop yet.

you have to spend 70 000 bells (i know you already spent alot)
she's completely random the first time

HOWEVER
once she shows up, complete the fashion check, time travel a day forward/back then return to the day she was there and Voila she'll be there again. So u just need to get her once, good luck

oops i forgot
she won't show up on weekends
and probably days fortune teller/gallery/Isabelle are in plaza

i don't think she shows up when you start up a new character and time traveling like a month+ forward seemed to increase the chances of her showing up for me.

tips on time traveling
you can time travel as much as you want without loosing villagers if you do it when the last time you played someone asked to move out. also when you start up again, if you timed traveled a huge amount then a new villager will ask to move out the day you start up again. this also all apply when you want to take a break from acnl

also, make sure to see what the theme is for the fashion check before 5pm so u can order the clothes you want to wear. the post man comes at ??am and 5pm
