theres a star fox game on every system on the snes and up except the wii and the gamecube has two, but doesnt it seem like Star Fox is on the bottom of Nintendos "make a new game" list? they usually work on a Zelda and Mario games first but it seem like a new Star Fox game comes months even years after the system is released it seems to me like this is Nintendo Love for a series List
1. Mario
2. Zelda
3. Metroid
4. Animal Crossing

100. Star Fox

I think the way nintendo does things is perfect
yeah but i think they should work on making a new installment in a series instead of things like Super Mario Sluggers >.<

I wouldn't put Animal Crossing in Nintendo's top 5. Look at Kirby and Fire Emblem. There are several games on the same platform with those series.

I think the release of each Star Fox game is timed right. If you ask me, it's Paper Mario that is pushed to the end of a system's life.

Nintendo didnt make Kirby, they didnt make Smash Bros either, common mistake, Hal Labrotories made both of these games
i forgot about fire emblem, mostly because ive nevr played one of the games

I don't think you guys are going to see that many more good 1st party games. The old Nintendo is gone. I heard they even wanted to make the next Zelda casual. Look at TP, it was casual enough, it was so easy, it was pathetic. :'(

meh... every starfox since 64 has been totally insignificant...

Especially both abominations for the gamecube... urg...

it makes me sick thinking about that "dinosaur planet" bullcrap... :X

David, if all you're gonna do is trash Nintendo and try to get people to dislike Nintendo and realize they're "outdated" in a forum of NINTENDO fans, then you're not gonna succeed and you should stop.

i'm not, i'm stating my opinion and theres plenty of cool people on here that like 360 and play it while their wiis collect dust in a cardboard storage box.

oh yea, considering the main game everyone on here has been playing is Animal Crossing, the wiis are really collecting dust.

I emailed Nintendo about star fox for the wii about a week ago, they gave me the average line: "We have no plans for a StarFox wii, but you never know what the future will hold.

Sincerely,
NOA Greg"

Animal Crossing gets boring after awhile and they could've done a lot more with CF. I liked the first one. I didn't enjoy the 2nd very much and wasn't at all excited about CF. I don't regret canceling my pre-order and selling my Wii and buying the 360 at all. My pre-order money got me 2 great games with it. :)

...Hal Labratories is run by Iwata. How are they not "Nintendo"?

Lawl, thinking only Paper Mario is being pushed to the end of its life.

Mario and Zelda are all exactly the same. They just enhance it to fit the current gen. Nintendo has pushed everything to the end of its life. Starfox has the best area to make new, interesting games.

Kirby and Smash Bros were created by Sakurai

Who used to work at Nintendo. Kirby and Smash Bros. are Nintendo properties, typically developed by second parties -- companies owned by Nintendo. Sure, they're not developed internally in Nintendo's R&D Departments, but that doesn't make them "not Nintendo".

Star Fox...eh. 64 was good, Adventures was phenomenal, but then it all went downhill from there.

Thats true, but Hal Labrotories is Nintendo, but just another group. So they are part of Nintendo. Like Pokemon with Gamefreak

You weren't a Starfox Assault fan? I thought that game was pretty good. I haven't played it in a while, but I remember it being a favorite of mine.

As for that DS game though, yeah, that was pretty bad...

I can't even think of the name right now...

EDIT: Command? Was it Starfox Command?
