It's not tiny like the goldfish. It's the same size as the pondsmelt.
Time is 9am to 4pm. I haven't caught one this year but have caught them for 27 players.

I spent hours trying to catch that bugger. I found the coelacanth much easier to catch than a nibble fish. I gave up after several days of not getting it. Then a villager asked for any river fish - guess who showed its face finally?

Hallelujah! I found one, finally! Doesn't it feel good to finally find a fish that you've been painstakingly searching for. :') Now I'm all set for the month of May!

Congrats. Some players caught it right away and others took forever to get.
