Newbie!

Hi all!
My names Winonah but nicknamed bizhiins. I really want to make a galaxy / floral themed town.. aka anything space themed indoors but also a serene town with lots of hybrid flowers. I also wants to make a space/ galaxy themed walkway through town.
I was considering restarting my town for a new layout and mainly because I don?t like my characters face and there?s absolutely no way to change it! However I really love my villagers and it would be hard to get the same ones.. I am building up to a cat themed town and I already have for cat villagers (punchy, tabby, tangy and ankha). I am trying to get Kiki and Monique to move in to my town!
How hard is it to restart and get villagers you want??

there are people who sell villagers on this board, or even give them away for free. they usually cost bells, a forum currency shown below your avatar. more on that here

How hard is it to restart and get villagers you want??

in my experience restarting a town isnt too difficult to go through, just time consuming. you can get a lot of bells from it and you can keep your catalog. you can keep resetting after to get a good layout and some villagers you want, but layout > starting villagers imo, since you can just buy the ones you want on here. restarting would also make getting the first few a lot easier since you dont have to keep time travelling to get someone out.

just in case you werent aware you can also buy the hybrids and furniture youre looking for on here.

also, i like the idea of your floral/galaxy town!

My town has a very big space influence with galaxy paths (they were SO HARD to find) and patterns everywhere!

As for the villagers, as ipecac said you just have to go on the Villager Trading Plaza and look for shops! You should find what you're searching for there.

basically in the process of deleting your town nook or isabelle ask if you want to keep everything in the catalog, if you dont you get some extra bells.
id love to see it when its done!

How were you able to find the galaxy patterns - are they shared on boards here? Anytime I try to scan one into the able sisters off the internet it never works for me!

Nope I just search for the on Internet! Pinterest is a quite good place to search for those. The key is to use the good terms!
But they were very hard to come by and most of them were just galaxy patterns and not paths.
Also yes it can be hard to scan them and I don't really remember how I did but I remember having a bad time with that definitely! (so good luck hhh)
Also well I haven't played since a long time and my town isn't even 10% finished so I can't really open it to the public as it's still very ugly and messy dkfjgjl sorry!!

Totally okay! And thank you! I’ll try to find them on Pinterest. It’s nice to find someone who wants the same theme! I study astronomy and really want to make my town reflect that!
