Yesterday Kidd moved out. It was sudden, I wasn't too sorry to see him go.

So this morning I loaded the game with a new character to check no villager plonked their plot down in an inappropriate place. All looked good, no new plots had appeared. Well, I thought, he only vacated yesterday, nobody will probably move in so quick. I didn't save and loaded my Mayor.

To my horror I then spot a new plot smack in the middle of a landscaped area in front of my cafe. She has taken out 9 black roses (the highest concentrated spot of hybrids I had). When the house is built, it will block the view of the cafe. Isabelle wouldn't let me put a PWP there even ...

I'm so annoyed as I checked for a new villager and there was none, it only appeared when I loaded my Mayor (didn't save the other game). It's Renee so not even a villager I want.

I've never time travelled before. I'm prepared to start.

How can I get rid of her. If I TT do I need to collect up my hybrids and will I loose my perfect town status? Can I then reset to the correct date afterwards and not loose anything?

Also (rant) it's ridiculous that villagers can do this and spoil your town. As Mayor you should be able to stamp their plot approved or help them place it.

Any advice on TT to get rid of villagers?

Ahhh.I feel your pain.Keaton moved in front of my police station, and my bridge, and wrecked some hybrids and bushes, and was too close to my zen clock.

The problem is, It's kind of rare to have your tenth villager ask to move. You may have to have someone move out, and another move in before Renee asks to move.If she is your 9th villager then you may have to get a tenth, so Renee will ask to move. It's so much work, and may end up causing even more damage to your town.

I ended up removing my zen clock, moving my bridge, took out the other bushes, cause the design was ruined, and now I just deal with the fact that there is a stupid house in front of my police station.

I hope it works out for you.I know how annoying it is to have your town messed up by a move in.

It might take you a little while, this is how I do it, and this is only MY opinion.

First, talk to your villager once. Then I ignore them and TT DAY BY DAY. remember to talk to all 9 of your other villagers that you wish to keep (Losing a dreamie sucks when you forget to tal kto someone then you load the next day and bam, someone is leaving you)

If your villager say for instance, Punchy, is in his house. Save and quit and then load up your game to see if he's come outside and TALK TO HIM. then resume TT to next day, eventually she should move. right after she moves you can either TT day by day back to the original day or do it all in one go*

*I've never had a dreamie move out right after another villager has moved out, but if you want to be extra safe I'd go one day at a time and talk to everyone. if you only have 8 after renee moves you no one will move out until another moves in.

The other day marcie moved to my town, she was my 9th villager, she stayed for 1 WEEK. and left. So it's definitely not impossible for your last villagers to leave first

Before I knew about plot resetting I just made do with what I had and it actually looks pretty nice

Ugh, Renee's house isn't the nicest addition aesthetically either -_- If you have the Beautiful Town ordinance, it won't be necessary to collect up your hybrids because they won't die on their own.
To my understanding, TTing backwards any amount counts as a day forward, so you could either do a huge jump back to the present when you are done, or frequently recorrect the date throughout the TTing process, and it won't do any damage (though it still counts as 1 new day, where shops get new stock and villagers could move etc).

edit: TTing backwards in Winter can cause your snowmen to disappear and bingo cards to become invalid, and probably other small things in the rest of the year, but it won't reverse any longterm progress you've made in your town like PWPs or landscaping.

Do you have the police station? When a villager moved over my flowers some flower seeds of the same type and color appeared in lost and found.

OH MY GOD WHAT THE **** MY RENEE MOVED INFRONT OF MY CAFE TOO AND I WANTED HER

you could try to cycle her out but that might make more problems. just being friendly to villagers helps me get them out p fast. the method i used when i had to cycle, tho, was talk to them until they wont talk anymore and tt one day forward. by talking to them theyd notify me if any other villagers were moving and then I tt 1 day forward if no one is, but I still checked for pings every 3 days.

The lost hybrids I can replace but the view and placement of the cafe is totally ruined. I'm going to try that trick to get her to move, very nervous about TT but I can't stand the plot placement, it's the worst place it could have gone! She is my 9th villager, I've never had 10.

Will check the police station, I've never seen hybrid seed bags!

So Debinoresu, you'd talk to Renee and not ignore her to get her to move? I don't want her to think I'm being friendly ...
