New to TBT, new to AC

Hello! I just started playing ACNL three days ago. It's my first AC game. Unfortunately, I don't have wifi or an internet connection for my 3DS, so I'm probably missing half of what's available in the game, but so far I'm enjoying playing solo! I'd love to hear any tips or tricks!
