Sup everyone. New to the forums and as much as it shames me to admit, new to the franchise altogether. I like to think of myself as being pretty experienced as far as a wide range of games go but somehow this little nugget of gold has eluded me for so long.
About a month back I upgraded to the new 3dsxl anticipating the new pokemon release, and downloaded new leaf on a whim. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Hours later I realized too late how I had been missing out on yet another GIANT of the industry. Every day some new discovery completely blows my mind. In the 20+ years of being a rabid Nintendo fan theyve never ceased to amaze me with their lovable cast, unforgettable settings and lucid experiences.
Needless to say I've been captivated. I'm sure I'll be perusing the forums for the weeks (months/years?) to come and figured I'd drop a line here. Don't shun me too hard for missing out.
Btw, I've recently introduced my daughter and a couple friends to the game, and was curious, I know they can come to the Island with me, but can they also participate in the Fish Tourney's and Bug Offs? Thanks.
