New Leaf is going to be on sale for $15 | Who got one?

I got mine this morning! Haha funny story though:

So, I forced myself to wake up early so i could beat the traffic to Target, considering I'm like, 2 miles away from the closest one. Waking up early made no difference whatsoever. The parking lot was absolutely filled, even at 8 AM. I walked in to the store from the crowded parking lot, and casually walked down to the electronics section. I saw New Leaf, but they had it listed as $30. I was literally about to curl up into fetal position and cry because I was super emotionally unstable waking up so early and not drinking any caffeine. Then, one of the clerks said, "Can I help you mister?" and I just stared at her awkwardly for 5 seconds, then said "I heard that there was a sale on Animal Crossing at Target, but you have it here as $30." So this lady just says "Oh yeah! I just forgot to change the price tag! It does cost $15, I'm sorry." So here I am, standing in a store, without my coffee, about to cry all because some lady was too lazy to change the price tag. Great.

Regardless, I still got the second copy, and I got to share an "Awkward ChocoTaco Moment in Public" with y'all, so I suppose all is well. xD

That's such a great story though! I didn't go until around 4:30, and my parents were waiting for me in the car, as I had kind of begged them to bring my to Target after we went to lunch for my birthday. I was worried they would be sold out because I went so late and my family would be mad that I made them wait for nothing, but thankfully they still had plenty. There were no signs anywhere about the sale so I had to go ask. I'm glad I did though. I'm working on my new town right now! I also nabbed Mario Kart 7 too.

I got my second copy today. I don't think I'll open it for a while since I'm spending a lot of time working on my first town. This may be a bad idea, but I'm really going to micromanage my second town and try to get the best map I can because while I love Catopia, I often get the feeling of wishing I had a better map to work with and no matter how good I try to make my town, it will never be quite what I want it to be. I may eventually not have the motivation to try to complete my "dream town" and say "f*** it", but at least then I'll have a second town which I can play with more liberally than Catopia which I have put a ton of work in to and don't want to ruin.

I got confused between Target and Walmart. I actually stopped by Target first but there was no sale tag and I was like o I guess it was at Walmart. Then I go to Walmart and they say there's no sale on it when I ask them (but I didn't ask workers at Target OTL). My bf and I went to mall after and it was rly late after we were done shopping in the AM so we passed Target and I failed to get a copy that morning ;-; however the next day (well same day after sleeping for the night) my bf had to go to ikea for his parents things and it happened to be in same area as target wahahaha. I did my research afterwards and even tho there were no sale stickers on the 3ds games I got acnl and rang it up for that sweet price. Yay for 3rd copy

I'm not even sure if they still acnl in my area :( Just checked a target today and they had none left. There wasn't even a slot for New Leaf in the 3DS section. I might go to a Target closer to home to check it out after my mom comes home with the car, but it seems pretty bleak.

I purchased my fourth copy on Saturday! (Fifth, really, but I loaned/gave one of them to a friend a while back.) I do have a specific plan for the town, though I'm not ready to start it yet. I figured, hey, it's hours of entertainment and cheaper than the price of going out for one dinner.
It wasn't properly labeled at my Target, either, though I was ready to dispute the price since they had the sale flyer posted in the lobby. All in all, it took me about five minutes to get my game, despite the crowds. :D I was half expecting to walk away empty-handed, since my Target hadn't had ACNL in stock for a while now.

It seems that nothing being labeled was a common issue. At my Target the only one that had a $15 tag was a Lego game of some kind. I went and asked though, because no way was I going to walk out without trying. Just started up my third town today. I'm going to make a more natural looking town and play it slowly. Kind of excited.
