Hello everyone! I updated my DA address this morning :D and I would love it if you dream about my town. My town is not complete that is why I could use your opinions with the overall look of my town and a few specific things I cannot decide on.

Monzon is set in the time of King Arthur (hence, my 2 characters' names are Arthur and Merlin).

Arthur's house is pretty much done. I have decided on the themes of the rooms, except the basement. The main room is the throne room; the second floor is the bedroom; right room is dining hall; left room is armory. I am thinking of moving the armory but I don't know what I will do to the left room if I decide to move the weapons to the basement. My other option is to make the basement a dungeon. (It's currently becoming a wheat field at the moment haha)

Jasam's house is currently become a japanese-themed house. The main room is a hallway; the right room is a tea room; the left room is going to be a bath room but I can't decide on how the bathtub should look like. Cedar or marble? I am also still trying to find other things to put in the bathroom so that room is definitely not done. The upstairs is a bedroom. It doesn't look very japanese-themed because I used the princess set but I just love how it turned out so I want to keep it as is.

The Tavern's main room is a dining area for town visitors, while the back being the kitchen (still trying to find the right furnitures for this room. The basement has bunk beds for travelers who barely have money but need a place to stay, while the second floor being for visitors who can afford their own bed for a more comfortable stay. I am not sure if I should add more rooms to the Tavern. Also, you'll notice how one of the cabin table and chair in the main room is customized while the others are not. It's because I am trying to decide if I should keep the furniture natural or customized it to Birch wood. Which do you think looks better? I am still trying to decide if I should expand the house or not because I don't know what the rooms should be. Maybe a bathroom? A music room?

Merlin's house is a huge work in progress so you don't need to pay much attention to it, but basically, I want a bedroom, a library, and enchantment room. I am afraid I might have expanded the room too much. Maybe I should have just made a second floor and basement so his house is not so big :-/

The town flag is probably going to change to a red flag with gold dragon.

Anyway, that's a lot of information so I am going to stop talking XD I'd love it if you guys tell me what you think of my town so far! Thanks for reading!

Town of Monzon.

I love your town flag. I know you plan on changing it, but it really is nice. I'm sure the new one will look great too.

The path with the stairs looks great.Normally, I don't care for the grey paths, but this really looks nice.

There are so many lovely areas in your town.I love the lights all lit up, and everything is neat and tidy.I see you used other patterns around the villagers houses. What a great idea. You have these paths, and yet the town still has this natural look about it.

The little hidden mushroom area is lovely and unique. I like how you made it in a circle shape. The area in front of the coffee shop looks fantastic.

Now for my favorite part. The houses.

Arthur's house- Nice exterior.I always like talking to the characters. A catch phrase would be something nice to add. They just say "thanks" when you don't give them something to say.The main room is perfect. It looks just like a castle should. Great job on the room to the left. The right room is very nice too. Love it.
Do you plan on making the basement a dungeon? Or maybe a counting room for the king? Oh, nevermind, i see where you said you were thinking of a dungeon. The upstairs is also perfect. I wouldn't change a thing.
You did a fantasic job on this house.I had so much fun exploring it.

Tavern-I like how the character looks. The exterior is also very fitting. The main room is nice. I'm surprised you fit so many tables and chairs without making it look cluttered. I've always been a fan of the natural look of the cabin. The birch is ok, but the other is better in my opinion. Love the upstairs. The basement is also very nice. Ya gotta have a place for the less fortunate to sleep.lol.The kitch wall and floor is perfect. The room is a bit bare ( I'm sure you're not finished yet). I'm thinking a fireplace and tables for the food would look good. The modern wood might look nice in there. Once again, I had a great time exploring. This house is awesome.

Merlin-You probably already plan on doing this, but white hair, a beard, and wizzard hat would look good on this character.I like that you have a library. I know you think the house shouldn't have so many rooms, but you may come up with more ideas for the other rooms. In the meantime, you could just close them off with furniture until you decide.

Jasam's house-It was a bit shocking to walk in the main room of this house. What a clever, unique idea.At first I was confused where I was.lol. The upstairs is very lovely.Great job on the main and right rooms too.

I had a great time in your town. Thanks so much for sharing. I will definately be visiting again. I hope more people take the time to dream visit the lovely town of Monzon.

Thank you for the thorough reply! I really appreciate it. I really like the town flag i have now too, but I think the new idea suits the theme better. Maybe I can make the new pattern and show you? Can you give me your opinion about it once it is made?

I feel shaky about the stairs path, but glad that you like it so I might keep it! Haha The reason why I have gray paths is because I think it makes the town look more like a kingdom. I am relieved to know that you like the patterns I used.

I am not sure if I am keeping the hidden mushroom spot and the forest area. I guess cycling my villagers will determine that. If no one plants their house on it then I might keep it hah!

I'll add more reply, just wanna save before I lose my response. I am on my phone so I am worried it's gonna mess up.

I don't know how to give the characters catch phrases. How do you do it?

What is a "counting room"? I don't think I have heard of that.

You're right, I am not done with the Tavern's Kitchen. I am still in search of the right tables/furniture. I will check out your recommendation. I don't remember how the modern wood table looks like. I am thinking of expanding the Tavern some more..ao we will see!

Glad you enjoyed my town even though it is not complete! It gives me more motivation to work on it more and finish it :-D Again, thank you for your kind words!

I really liked the stairs, and you're right, the path is perfect for a kingdom. I also understand why you would want the flag changed. Your idea sounds really cool. I would love to see it when it's finished.

You know the person icon on the top of the lower screen? It shows your town name and dream address when you tap on it. It also will show how many badges you have. Theres a spot where you can add a saying for your character. It's right next to their head. Mine says "live, love, laugh". And my pirate character says "Ahoy Matey". It's just kind of fun to have the sayings fit the character.

I can order you a few modern wood pieces, if you like. You don't have to use them, but you can try them out to see how they look. They can be refurbished too. I'm mostly just thinking of the table. It's rectangle shaped so it would be good for counters.

A counting room would be a place where the king counts and stores his money. I think of the room looking kind of like a dungeon.Bell bags and coins laying around. Theres a libra scale that would look good too.A table and chair for the king to sit at. I do like your dungeon idea. I'm sure that whatever you choose will look great.

Thanks for the instruction about how to make the characters say something! I edited it. Now I just have to update my DA. I already changed Merlin's look too!

I would really appreciate it if you could get me the modern wood furniture(s). Please just let me know how much I owe you! :-)

I can order them today. Theres no charge. Is there anything else you would like ordered?

Oh yay! It would be great if you can order anything that is on my wishlist for me :D Any item would help. If not, it's okay. Some of the items on my wishlist are non-orderables so don't pay attention to those :3 Thank you!

I think your town flag is lovely.
For your landscaping, well there's not much to say on it since it is a huge work in progress with your flowers scattered about in clumps or just there. I'd recommend landscaping major areas such as villager houses, town hall, character houses before the other areas but that's just me. My favorite area would be that forest area above Retail. Nothing wins me over than a forest area. And I love the little barren trees scattered about. It gives a nice touch.
It seems one half of your town is more modern(?) while the other is a forest? That's interesting. I hope to see the completed work in the future. Although I admit I'm a bit irked by that sudden rock interrupting your path near the train station. I hate it when that happens. >.>
My favorite house so far would be Arthur's. I love the throne room the best despite the limited types of furniture used.
The tavern is lovely. I love themed-houses such as that though I do admit that the time card is kind've awkward to place there since you're going for a more... medieval(?) look based on the three houses and I love the warm feeling the main room gives along with the bedrooms.
Jasam's house was what threw me off guard a bit as I remember a town with a design just like that. It's called Honmei by majorfuu(?) on Tumblr. Did you perhaps draw inspiration from that because mayorfuu had a tea room as well with their hallway just like that too. But it's cute. As for the shower room, maybe you could also throw in some shower heads + wooden stools as well to go along with the two bathtubs.
I'd recommend stuff like books, plants, mushrooms and the creepy cauldron for Merlin's house. Heck maybe even some insects as well.
