Projected Running Time: 48-49 minutes

Last session on Monday (1/10/11), mixing/mastering process should move along fairly quickly. A release date of February/March is definitely sounding realistic at this point.

Is the name of it Duets? (what happened to Cafe Noir? or is it the same thing lol)

I dunno if I'll end up keeping Duets or not. It's a functional name, but it doesn't really stand out. The noir project is a separate project/CD that I'll hopefully record over summer 2011. I do have a fragment of the noir suite on this CD, though, but just as a duet w/ my brother.

Here's a quick sample from yesterday's session. This is a fragment from my waltz, "Abandoned City". Specifically, this is the solo section (i.e., me playing an improvised melody over certain chords).

The actual tune also has: a solo introduction, the actual theme with my brother on flute, as well as his solo. I thought I'd just post this, though, since I'm really happy with how the solo turned out. I "let loose" in a few spots... haha.

Sounds good!

Sounds great, It sounds like what I'd hear in those fancy foreign restaurants I go to on holiday.
Oh and that's a good thing :P

Ahh, really like the name. Great picture too. I'm really looking forward to this one.

looks good

So will it be under a different artist on iTunes and scrobble with a different artist on last.fm since you include your brother's name?

Hmm. I hadn't thought of that. Is there any way to have two different ID3 tags?

I don't really know what that is, but I don't think so.

If he's on all the songs then you definitely have to include his name lol.
