Does this also apply to Europe? Or is it just for the US?
as far as I know, we all get a letter in the game (delivered by pete) that says this news.. but I just realized that all the people I know who got it had NA versions.. so if you didn't receive a letter in-game, I guess it doesn't include EU versions..? not sure though!

really?? wow im really so confused on how this works now lol but yeah same there's no nintendo zone nearby here.. I don't even think there's a nintendo zone in my country!
This one is just America i think, I'm in Europe and haven't received a letter. Europe has already had many Japanese DLC from our Nintendo zone though such as the steamed-bun case, other food items and the hagoita (we got this before Japan actually I believe, my Japanese friends said they didn't have it when I received it).

This is what the letter says in game:
"Hello! Starting February 1st, we'll be releasing a new item every two weeks that has only been available in the Japanese version. So be sure to visit Nintendo Zone often!
From your yujin in Japan"
I would assume this means they are rereleasing Japan-only exclusives.

Yeah, I doubt were gonna get new items because we seen them all in the prima guide.

Apparently you can change your wifi router settings to trick the game into thinking that you're in nintendo zone! I haven't tried it since I'm close to a lot of nintendo zones but there are youtube videos explaining how to do it.

I'm going to wait and see what the item is first. In Canada McDonalds makes you agree to the terms before using their Wifi.
A lot of the time the Wifi is down. It took 3 visits in one week to get one free DLC item. Cost 2 dollars each time to try to get it.
I'd rather just pay $2-3 dollars for a 7-11 set thru the Eshop. Disney Magical World has DLC that you pay for and it very easy to use. Next AC game will probably have paid DLC.

Huh, this is strange. I'm going to load up my game now and see if I got a letter. I haven't touched it in awhile.
As for what it could be, I hoping for the one DLC that hasn't been released anywhere yet. The blue argyle tank. I'm also hoping for some kimbap plates or any very rare DLC. I'd like the fedora chair to make a comeback. Or perhaps the stationary set for the kids and back to school.

Yes, I do agree! They did it for the US exclusive cider for Japan, don't see why they can't do it with the beans haha.

So I checked my game, I got nothing. I'm in New Zealand however we get the European DLC.
