New Animal Crossing Game???

Those any1 know if there is gonna be a new animal crossing game?

I heard rumors that there's going to be a WiiU AC.
Look at the title releases. GCN, DS, Wii, 3DS.... then WiiU?

I'm hoping for it because if so, I'm going to play the **** out of it.

Hope it isn't on the WiiU. Only reason I never played AC:Lets bugger off to the City, is because of the effort required by plugging the Wii in and not having the ability to play the game on the go.

I doubt that they're going to make two for the 3ds. Since the first animal crossing there's been a game for every system, I don't see why they'd stop that pattern now.

Well, obviously there will EVENTUALLY be another, they wouldn't cut off the game while it's popular in the west. But there are rumors of more info on the next game being announced in 2015. (To clarify, I mean, we'll be getting the announcement in 2015, not the game, probably.) There was also this article from about a year ago going around at the time, noting that nintendo was "considering which system the next installment should be on." I'm taking that as indefinitely meaning it will be a Wii U title. So, hop on the hype train, I guess?

Personally i hope the next installment is on another portable system. I like being able to whip out my system and check up on my animals. A console that is plugged in eliminates the portability and i typically don't play as much on those. But this is just my personal opinion

How is that possible? Don't they need to know what system it's on to test it before marketing it out? Sorry seems a little fishy there.

Well, sadly, we likely won't have a say. Nintendo will put it out for whatever system they want. I personally think they'll make the next one for the Wii U, as others have said. I love my 3DS version and portability, but consoles have their advantages, too.

I'd be rather surprised if they don't have it out in 2015, even if it's the end of the year.

Or maybe I'm just hoping for 2015.
