It said that you couldnt get NES games in city folk.

Here's some common sense for ya, sunshine.

During the production of the first animal crossing game, the GBA was begining to make an apperance as a new item, so they didnt think of making NES games on the system till MUCH later. This is where that "much later" comes in at when the DS made an appearance. At that time, Ninendo was selling the legend of zelda, links awakening, super mario, dr.mario, etc etc on the GBASP.... so they didnt have the NES games on wild world because nintendo was selling them seperately.

Lets goto NOW.

NOW, we have animal crossing on the wii... and theres no NES games?! (oh noes!)

The thing with THIS one, is that the wii provides something called "vertual consoles." Did you forget about that little beauty in the shop?

So why would Nintendo want to loose money by including the same thing, for free, in another game; let alone a game as massive as animal crossing?

They wouldn't.
