If you have more than one player in your town do you have to have them talk to everyone regularly for neighbors not to move out from being ignored?

It depends on who they ask. If they ask your main character you mostly use they'll most likely agree to move (but it depends on if you talk to them and build friendship.) Even if they ask but they decide not to, you can reset and avoid them, they'll still move out.

yea but I heard if you ignore a neighbor for a week after introducing your self to them first they leave. I was just wondering if you talk to them once after introducing yourself to them with a character and then not talking at all do they still leave because that character is ignoring them or does talking to them once after introducing yourself to them break that. I would be still talking to them a lot with my main character.

I have 4 characters in my town. 1 character has NEVER talked to anyone. A second character talked to my favorite villager (Gayle) only once by accident. Gayle asks the mayor character about them every once in a while. A third character talked to all the villagers everyday for a month (just before the characters b-day) to try to build up friendships (didn't work, just got a regular furniture item). The mayor talks to everyone almost everyday and sometimes multiple times a day to each villager. If any of your characters talk to a villager everyday or every other day, they won't feel ignored.

I have 4 characters and for me I like more furniture sets than I have room for, and I love decorating houses. Plus that extra wardrobe space is nice too. Some have extras just for storage space etc. I actually like all my characters and have worked my butt off to pay off and upgrade all four houses so I can decorate. I change room design every now and then because, as I said, I like a LOT of furniture sets.
As you said, to each their own...

Nice never thought of that. that sound cool and may do that but also may not as I think grinding can be a little boring and take the fun out of it. But it can look cool if you take the time for it.

I have three characters, two of which only come out of their houses to silently lay down paths or put furniture on the ground from their storage for the mayor. I rarely bother talking to anyone and no one's moved out yet, so yeah, you can use characters just for storage without having them talk to villagers. :)

I initially created the other two characters just to store patterns for paths and grass, because each character can only have ten, but the extra storage is also nice, now that I'm collecting more gyroids and furnitures.

Villagers don't move out from being ignored.

If it were that easy we wouldn't agonize over getting hated villagers out of town so much.
