I'm planning to open Katrina's shop, but she rarely stops by. If anyone has Katrina in their town, could I possibly come visit to get my count up to 20?

you can't visit other people's towns to get it.... she has to be in your own town unfortunately

Damn, really? That sucks. I was reading that you could go and get your fortune read at other towns to get her. Oh well.

EDIT: I think you can get your fortunes read at other towns for it? I think?

You can visit or have visitors to her all you want. Sadly, it doesn't count unless its a resident of the town hosting her.
