Need was of making money

Hey everyone,

I haven't played AC:NL in a while and I wanted to get back in business. I have a lot I need to do in my town, Oaktown. I need to pay off my loan and I have a public works that needs some donating.

Does anyone have advice on how to make quick money? If anyone wants to play online together, visit each other's towns, etc. Let me know!

A great way to make money is to hunt beetles on the island. Here's a good guide for beetle farming. Also, this guide doesn't mention it, but I personally removed the palm trees at the bottom of the map as well. I hope this helps you!

In addition to beetle hunting, you can sell turnips. A locker full of turnips @ 600 ea. goes for ~8mil
The only downside is that you can't Time Travel or they spoil. If you want to sell them sooner, and Reese doesn't have a good price, you can try /r/ACTurnips or The Official Turnip Prices Thread for some good prices. Alternatively, if you have good prices, you can let others over and they usually leave tips as a thanks.

Thanks everyone. I figured I am going to have to do a lot of fishing and bug catching on the Island to make bells fast. Unfortunately my Nook store closes at 8 P.M. I have to work on advancing that too. Lots to do!

You can sell the bugs and fish at Re-Tail, which is open until 11. They also pay you more than Nook's!

Yeah don't sell at Nook's. I made that mistake when I first played because I remembered the old GC game.
