Buying Need to borrow a golden axe

So now that I'm tired of pokemon, I decided to reset my town and start from scratch. I'm feeling so overwhelmed though and I don't even know where to start. I really just want to cut down all the trees that will be in the way of laying down paths, but I don't have any bells yet or anything to offer right now, so if anyone would be willing to lend me a golden axe, I would pay you back when I get some bells or with any villager you want (I have a second copy)

Ah that would be so nice of you!! It might take me awhile with it because I'll be cutting down basically every tree to start with a clean slate hahah but once I'm done that I can start resetting to find one of those villagers for you!
