My DA is 4300-6633-4214 for anyone who wants to visit since that might be of more help, but I'll try to describe my town as best as I can for anyone who doesn't want to visit but still want to help!

Okay, so for the past 3 years I've had my town, it's obviously gone into a lot of development. It feels mostly "complete" but there are still so many empty areas that I don't know what to do with. I have most PWPs, or at least the ones I need. But I already have the maximum amount of projects I can have so I don't know what else to do (what to get rid of, replace, add, etc). A lot of my town just has flowers everywhere because I don't know what else to add into the empty land. I want it to look more landscaped, but adding bushes is sort of hard in some places because I can't add them on the way edge of a river/cliff.

I still want to keep the "fairytale" theme without going into too much of a zen theme (like with the PWPs) because my second town is going to be a zen/nature one.

Any help at all would be great since I'm really lost as to what to do with my town. I know there are a lot of landscaping experts. :)

I've just walked through your town and the main thing that jumps out at me is that you have almost no trees. The only ones I remember seeing are the cedars in the upper left corner by the fire pit (that area is super cute, btw!) and the two pear trees by your lower left bridge. It's especially surprising since you have it in cherry blossom season and the pink trees are so cute, so I'm wondering if it's a deliberate choice? Trees (and bushes, and bamboo if that fits into your theme) do a lot to fill up a town!

Regarding PWPs, I also faced the problem of hitting the limit too early, so what I did is I made a list of every PWP I had and looked it over for anything that wasn't absolutely necessary or that I could stand to lose. (Of course, I first looked over a list of all the PWPs and knew which ones I wanted to make room for, so I wasn't just getting rid of stuff for nothing.) I also just walked through town and thought about whether any of them could be replaced with something natural and look just as nice. (In my case, I found that I had 7-8 street lamps, which I decided was overkill, so I got rid of a few and left four about equally spread out through town. Two of the ones I demolished were marking an entryway by my train station and I decided that perfect peach trees in those spots could serve the same purpose!)

And I would keep an open mind about PWPs you think might not work; for instance, I used to think the chair and cube sculptures were kinda gaudy/unsightly until I tried them out and now they form a cute art/sculpture garden below my plaza (an area that went through many many makeovers as I struggled figuring out what to do with it!) Here's the PWP list I refer to if you don't already know of one.

If there's areas you want to look fuller while still keeping them sort of "open", you could use clovers, mushrooms, and/or just good old paths/patterns! Those water tiles you have around your town tree and those few PWPs near it could definitely work winding through other parts of your town. (In my town, separate from my main path, I have a single width dirt path as well as some stepping stone tiles that I use to fill out my "park" and campsite area.)

Most of this was pretty general advice, but I could go into more specific suggestions (i.e. what projects you could try and where) if you'd like. I'm stopping here for now though since this is already way longer than I'd intended it to be, haha. Hopefully you can get at least some ideas from all this, and good luck!!

Thank you so much for the suggestions, you will really helpful! I will definitely look through my PWP lists as you recommend and also look for places for trees :)
