Need signatures for one of my animals

So my Colton asked me today to get him signatures for his love thy hairstyle day petition. As last night was my first travel out of town for a pickup this is new do people help with this here, I think he said ten by days end it's 1 game time in town...Do people help with this or should Imtell him no, I do only have nine and am wary or getting an unwanted tenth. I don't want to agree then get no help...does he mean villagers ten or people ten town mayors?

I am going to tell him yes, and if no one will help I guess he will forgive me seems like a fun new part of game as I never Winfield out until yesterday. have been to island on main game but never this I am trustworthy and will only do what he needs. he is still waiting for me to answer poor Colton, with his hairstyle celebration petition.
