Orange Box, Left 4 Dead, and Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie are available on XBox Live Arcade.

The Orange Box is on the PS3. But I can't ever seem to find it anymore. Left 4 Dead is on the PC. And I'm stumped about Banjo. But if that's all you really want, there's also a land of oppertunity on the PS3.

Metal Gear Solid 4, inFamous, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone 2, and couple of others, plus the Multi-Platform games.

Yeah but the PS3 is so expensive. :S

But worth it in the end. Free online! Plus you can store videos, music and pictures on it, and you've got Blue-Ray.

I don't really care about that stuff though, why can't they just make a less expensive PS3 without all that stuff?

Well i'll probably end up getting a PS3 in the end because LittleBigPlanet makes me drool.

I played a ps3 the other weekend, so I can give you a good idea of what it was like.
When I first turned it on, it sounded like I had started an electric woodsaw.
I did love the graphics, and the games are fun and really good to look at, but it's still wasn't something I'd pay that much money for. The avatar system was neat too, but the xbox avatars are still the best in my opinion.

So I think the 360 would be a good choice for a console.
a laptop is always nice too though.
