There mic symbols are going off. And also my mic is making a popping noise on and off. I have restarted my XBOX and nothing has happened.

If it's making a popping sound then well, it's broken.
Unless of course, you have some messed up parental setting turned on. Otherwise that makes no sense.

Well as for their mic going off sometime my mic shows up on a bubble when I didn't saying anything it's usually when I hit the cord to my mic. Maybe that's what happening to them?
