Hello,
I am only missing one more fossil to finish my exhibit, but I've had trouble identifying it?

I couldn't find a fossil that looks like it. It's just a regular squid? I have already donated a squid I fished up, though.
Didn't really manage to find it in my searches so figured I might ask here.

that's not a fossil, you must be missing something else
double check the skeletons, i ended up missing part of the deinony when i thought i completed mine

No such fossil exists it seems. (I checked nookazon). sorry bro idk what to say... though i doubt they'd put a squid fish in the fossil section

I think you can check the terminal at residence service, choose shipping, then misc. tab where they list fossils you already have, you can find out what you are missing by compare with the complete list.

Shopping, typo.

I don't know when the squid appeared, but are you sure you have every single other fossil in the first room? I know those pedestals filled up for me as I donated fossils that were related to them.

I see, so it just fills up with this random squid. It must get completed automatically when I submit my last missing fossil (ammonite) then. Kinda weird that it just gets added like that. Thanks for the replies.

Lol sorry, I just noticed I kind of gave misinformation in my first post. I thought I was still missing two more fossils, and wanted to identify them both to buy them and complete my collection. I meant "the only one I'm missing" as in "the only one I haven't identified".
