I'm braaaand new to Animal Crossing (bought it April 1st!) and I accidentally sold my fishing rod last night and only the bug net and shovel are being sold at Nookling Junction. I was really hoping when I popped into my town this morning there would be another fishing rod...no dice. 
With today's egg hunting event, I really need a fishing rod and from what I've read, I need a slingshot to get the packages floating around by way of balloons. Does anyone have any extras of either item that I could buy or trade?

Oh...and it would seem you need a wet suit for another source of eggs? Oh bother. I doubt anyone has an extra of all three of those things. Bummer.
