My parents said, that If I could get half of the money I need to buy an iMac, they said they'd double my money and get me one... :D

But... I need a way to get money... If the camp counselor thing doesn't work out *$100 PER WEEK* which would take me the whole summer to earn. Any suggestions?

I'm a lazy ass, so I don't have a job, but they seem to get you a lot of money.
I'm a lazy ass, so I don't have a job, but they seem to get you a lot of money.
Indeed, Job is your ideal way to go, you can get a small part time job at most places for like 12 hours a week, it wont destroy your social life, and it'll give you more money for Gaming or whatever your money goes to. And you could always quit once you have the money you want, but im pretty sure you'd like the cash flow.

Also, if thats not your thing, you could mow lawns or something, falls coming around, you can rake leaves for people (depending where you live), doubt you'll make as much as you need with that, but yeah.

If you're Catholic and haven't yet, get confirmed. I got about $450 from my relatives from that. :P

But like Shadow said, really the only surefire way to get money is to get a job. Or rob people. But don't do that.

it's the alternative. But I'll probably get a job... like bag boy at a store... or maybe just be a bus boy at a food place. Idk. I have a lot of things to take into consideration...

My first job was as a busboy, its not that bad if you're comfortable with the place you're working at.

Also you often get free food :gyroidveryhappy:

yea, free food!

Yeah, jobs are great. If you're a musician, gigs pay extremely well, typically. $100 / hour is low-mid range for the starting gigging musician... cafe gigs are nice too.

One of the only ways you're going to get money is from a job. Everything counts.

Of course at my age the only job I have is cutting lawns, but that's only in the summer.

Hey it's about an extra $300 in my pocket. :P

Yeah I was a host at Applebee's. The tip share you received there was bigger than your actual pay check most the time... Just find a job that suits you. And mowing lawns does help a bit. I mow lawns in my neighborhood for 30 bucks.
