Im thinking of making a food-themed town but I need some name ideas!

I also have some ideas for the villagers Im gonna have.
So far I have:
Merengue
Zucker
T-bone
Sprinkle
Apple
Tangy

Is there anyone else I should get?

u could name it citrus :D
or tasty

another food animal is frita

she is a burger and french fries :D

Oh my god I can't believe I never realized that! She has been my favorite for years and I never cared to look at her appearance. I see it now xD

Chadder is a mouse made of cheese. My City Folk town was "Gooda" a play on "Gouda" You could just go with a type of cheese: Havarti, Brie, Limburger, Muenster, Provolone, Mozzarella, etc. I think a lot of cheese names sound like town names, not sure why.

Hey, I'm doing this too! I named mine Essen, as "(das) Essen" means "food" in German. (Or, in the context of a verb, it can mean "to eat.")
Coco, while technically based off a gyroid/haniwa, could be construed as a coconut bunny.
Chadder looks like a Swiss cheese mouse.
Marshal is a marshmallow squirrel, though, to be fair, he's pretty hard to get...
Stitches and Ribbot are synthetic beings and could thus go with the theme.
I just go with villagers that both look like food and have culinary names. (Except for Stitches and Ribbot.)
Pastel paths and fairy-tale PWPs would also go well with the theme.
A Sweets exterior and fruit and Sweets set rooms could go for the mayor's house.
I know I'm giving a lot of what I plan to do. That's okay, so long as our towns are complete carbon copies. I just was so excited to see this thread because NOW I'M NOT ALONE!!!

Frita would be a good one. She is a french fry sheep with a burger on her head.
Tia is a teapot.
Chadder is a cheese mouse.
Anchovy? I am not sure if it would fit, but he does have a food name.
Apple? Pink hamster with a food name.
Cherry? Red and black dog with a food name.
Chops is a pig. Pork Chops?

Saw someone mention cheese names for a town. Kinda like that idea, could work.

And Mint! She's minty fresh!
Also Biskit, even if he's a dog-"biskit".
Cookie, because cookies.
Nana, because bananas.
If you're into charcuterie-type stuff, you could even go with Bones. Bet he'd make for a tasty soup stock.

Cerise means cherry in french
Citron is lemon in french
Ciruela means plum in spanish
these all start with C but yeah c:

I think Buffet would be a cute name. :3

Idea's for rooms:

A diner themed room with like a juke box and checkered tile floor, booths, counters with cash registers, medicine cabinet, neon signs, stools, etc.

Cute pastery shop themed room with sweet furniture items, berliner, rice cake, pumpkin pie, rainbow screen, etc. (for example you can visit my mayors room in my DA, you can use it to help spark idea's!)

Cafe themed room with lots of classic furniture, coffee cups and Brewster items, Coffee bags from working for brewster, etc.

Seafood themed room with lobster on top of a blue customized minimalist end table, pirate themed items from Pascal, and some furniture for the seating arrangements.

I hope this helped!

for names, milky, momo (peach in japanese) cinnamon, wasabi, honey, ichigo, dango, mochi, sprinkle, parfait. For villagers, i agree with all he otehr suggestions, as well as lolly, diana because she reminds me of a cupcake, marshal because hes a marshmallow, flurry (like a mcflurry haha) lyman, (like a lime). And a little bakery/cafe with the sweets set is essential, and the 7/11 set. The marshmallow chair looks cute with it too, especially when its customized to look toasted ^.^ Then the good food dlc's like dango, afternoon tea-set, pumpkin pie, berliner, ect. ect. are perfect! You could also do a convenience store, with just the 7/11 set. hope i helped!
