Mystery of the Museum Model

I completed my museum's collection yesterday, so expected to get a museum model in the mail today. However, it's already 1pm and I still haven't gotten anything. My mailbox wasn't full either, so that could not have been the cause?

Any ideas on what did cause it, and possibly how I can fix this (or if it will fix itself)?

I thought it was put up for sale in the museum shop rather than sent to you? Could be wrong though as I've yet to complete my collection.
