I know that I posted this in the Animal Crossing: City Folk section already but I thought I might get more answers for my questions here because my problem basically just includes my Wii, and not my AC:CF game. So here goes:

Ok. So, last night I downloaded Homebrew for my Wii and ACToolkit. It was all working perfectly. Then my batteries went out of my Wii controller, and I said oh I'll just replace them. So that's what I did. When I tried turning to remote on it didn't work. I tried again with new batteried. Nothing. Again, and again and again I tried. I charged 2 sets of batteries, still nothing. So now I tried using my Wii remotes with the charging dock. They were all ready. Turned 'em on = nothing. What is wrong with my Wii? I'm freaking pissed off here because I haven't got to play in my hacked town. Did I mention that when I turn my Wii on a BootMii or HackMii thing comes on with these options of Wii menu, homebrew channel, SD Card, and some other button crap that I can't remember. Help? Please!

You didn't mention syncing the Wii remotes. Have you tried that?

I installed the Homebrew Channel and Bootmii a while back and I never had Wiimote problems.

You DO know that we cannot discuss hacking here, right? And I suggest using rechargeable batteries or a new WiiMote.

Yeah I tried to sync all the remotes to the Wii and still nothing. By the way, something also may be wrong with my Wiimote charging dock because when it's green (as in the wiimotes are charged up) they arent charged up.

EDIT: It's not really discussing hacking as it is discussing my broken wii motes because I'm not talking about hacking just my remotes.
And I have tried rechargable batteries numerous times and new remotes. Still not working.

Hacking can't be discussed here? You best be joking. There's no illegal discussion going on here. Perhaps it'd make sense if we were talking about backup loader and utilities like that, but Homebrew isn't illegal.

It sounds like a battery problem. Installing the Homebrew Channel and bootmii shouldn't have anything to do with Wii remotes. Try using regular ol' batteries.

I've tried all my Duracell and the non-chargable ones but it seems they're all empty. And I don't think my mom will let me go get some new ones today. She's exhausted.

Actually, read the rules. Also, the rechargeable batteries are better and cheaper.

Man, what's with rules like that? For the most part, Homebrew is harmless. Well whatever, i'd better go and edit my posts. Don't want to get off on the wrong foot here.

I'm aware that it isn't permitted to be talking about hacking, but all I did was mention it in a post because it might have something to do with my problem. And I do know rechargable batteries are the better option, but in this case they haven't been working. It seems that no battery has been working.

I just tried some batteries I just charged on my Xbox controller and they work. Wii controller? Nope. (I'm getting mega-pissed)

EDIT: I've tried restarting and all that *censored.2.0*. Still nothing. I don't know what's happening.

Technically, we aren't discussing about "Hacking"

we are, in no shape or form, talking about "HOW TO GET" "[enter program name here]".

We are just mentioning names.

It falls into the same category of if I wanted to talk about Pot, since it's not a
"Illicit drug".

Im just saying, if we mentioned Homebrew, everyone has to hit the deck because its "discussion about hacking".

:| You guys should ether loose up, or change the rules..

<3 love yew

Sounds like your Wiimote has kicked the bucket. Try googling to see if other people have had similar problems when installing the Homebrew Channel.

Are you having trouble accessing the Wii menu? Is it in BootMii?

Yes, the Wii Menu won't appear only the BootMii menu. Then it has the icons for WiiMenu, Homebrew Channel, SD Card, and a picture of gears. I haven't got to access the Wii Menu because my Wiimotes won't work and I can't click on it. So my Wii is basically stuck on BootMii if I don't fix these Wiimotes. :(

It's not the Wiimote. You navigate with the Start and Reset button on the Wii.
