My weird Island experience...

I went to the island because I needed to find a butterfly for Cally so I thought I may as well meet someone new while I was at it... I arrived to find this girl who seemed nice. Then this other guy named Connor arrives and I had to go afk for my dinner. I came back and it was the same people plus an extra girl who was typing in caps random things saying she was 182 or something... Then the guy named Connor came up to me and started flirting with me and he said "I like your swag" (I was like what swag?) while the new girl said "flirtin' flirtin' flirtin'" in caps. Then she wanted to leave but couldn't because Connor had started a tour and wouldn't go on the tour without getting my friend code. He started demanding it and I decided to stop ignoring as said "no thank you" and then said "wtf weirdo" so I just said "says the guy who flirts on ac". He then went on the tour with the first girl I met and that was it.
This guy says he was about my age - he acted like a jerk anyway haha and I don't give my FC out to people who demand it...

Sorry for blabbing on for a bit but I was just wondering if anyone else had any weird experiences like this... I just like reading them because I find them interesting. I didn't find this experience bad really because we weren't exactly being held hostage and I found it kind of funny in a way haha xD

yes! i have had something similar....he was waiting by the seats so he could jump along on EVERY tour with me! and was asking how old i was and for my friend code etc......turns out he was a 49 year old Japanese dude who wanted to "learn better English" from me....hmmmm.....

I've had several people who refuse to let me leave the island unless I do tours with them. I had somebody who like, forced me to let them win, too.
It's so weird.

Once a girl walked up to me and suggested we "do it", and when I said no and tried to leave she didn't let me so I had to disconnect. But besides that I've had mostly good experiences.

I know! On all of my games I've gotten Club Tortimer, but I'm not so sure about my next one. I probably won't in the beginning - instead I'll probably wait until I've collected every item I want from the island and buy the register sheet with my spare medals.

This may seem weird, but I actually like weird experiences on CT, just to see what happens, because I find it funny. I've had nothing bad happen to me yet though, lol!

I haven't been to the CT island in awhile, I mostly go to the island at night 4 bugs. I haven't had any problems when I did go just one annoying guy. First he followed me around the island, then I decided to do a tour to get away but he followed me. I did several tours(mostly fishing) but he made that difficult because he kept trying to get the fish I was already trying for and when we did one that involved catching a certain number of fish he either did what I said before or didn't fish at all so we didn't get any medals.

At one point he began a tour and I figured I'd leave once he did the tour but he wouldn't start the tour til I sat down. Finally I started a tour, sat down and as soon as he sat down I got back up so he ended up on the tour without me and I left the island. I do wanna go to CT again for the rare items but I haven't gotten around to it(I am currently like 4 days behind in my game now). I'll get caught up this week and maybe make a trip then.

it's reading stuff like this that validates my decision NOT to go to CT, ever.

also, Nintendo needs to figure out a better multiplayer system where ppl can't blackmail others in any way. (i.e. force ppl to go on tours or else can't leave situation)

I just went to island and met a guy who wanted me to give him my 7-11 items. Um no. He was also being extremely rude. I trolled him, and he flipped off his wifi. Mwhaha.

My first trip, a boy was trying to rob from me and demanded me to give him bells although he played liked a week longer than me.
Then I had a girl who said she "loved" me and wouldn't stop following me. I tried everything in my power to stop and fortunately, I tricked her and went on a tour myself.

Haha! I haven't had a bad experience- the first time I ever went, someone gave me 2 wetsuits and hibiscus shoots. The second time, a girl said 'Hi', ignored me and then said 'Do you like Danisnotonfire and Amazingphil?'. I responded with 'Yeah'.. Then it was a chat. Then I was on the island the third time- someone who was Japanese, he was actually quite funny- I told him I can't speak Japanese- though I said dog to him randomly (Inu). He did the 'Laughing' emotion. I was glad I could understand most of it.

Heh. This oddly made me want to go to the island now. I haven't gotten anyone one really weird but one time me and this Japanese guy were trying to talk and we couldn't speak ;-; Also I was in this contest with this kid to see who could catch the most rare bugs/fish.

Once someone on Club Tortimer started asking for my phone number over and over...I just left. No one would actually give out such personal info to strangers on CT (hopefully), so I don't know why these people bother

I showed up and these three kids were there, saying weird things. Then, they said, "Let's play hide and seek!" They didn't mean the tour. They started hiding behind Leila and other objects in the room! I decided to head for home, and one of the kids pushed against me doing the angry face over and over. But, I was able to bolt.

Ok, I just had an inappropriate encounter. This creepy 12 year old does the heart emotion at me, then asks what size I wear, if you know what I mean. :'(
