My moms an idiot

So today I heard my mom talking to my dad. She said she got a pop-up saying something like "Your computer has _ _ _ pornographic/inappropriate files saved on it. Download this program to be emailed each of these files." Thinking I was... you know, she downloaded it. Now every time I click a link on any website, I get a pop-up...

I'm insulted. She trusts a computer over me.

You have spyware, so do a virus scan if you can =o

Get Spybot Search and Destroy or Ad Aware. Both great anti spyware/trojan programs.

Yep, my mom has had similar situations, but she asked me about it first, I said, "Yeah, that would be a pop up? Know how it's a pop up? It popped up."
