My messed up WII

Well one day I was playing a GC game on the wii
I was using a GC controller that was non wireless

THEN, my kitten hops over the wire and pulls the system down
the Wii landed on it's side where the buttons are >_<

It works still, but after playing 1-2 hours it over heats and shuts off
then I gotta let it cool for 30 min

well when it fell and shut off
it must of messed up the power cord
power surges maybe?
maybe the fan broke?

1 or 2 resets aren't bad, it's just when everyone hates you it, then it's bad.
